Trane Xe80 Control Board Wiring. I would like to change. Trane xe80 single stage furnace.
Trane xv80, aprilaire humidifier, and a nest thermostat. I plugged everythin in to the new unit and then tried to run it. This new board will not ignite the gas with the existing carbide ignitor.
Checked High Limit Switch It Checked Okay.
Does anyone know which screws to remove? My old control board was not reading that my thermostat was calling for heat and would not give a diagnostic code. This is a brand new trane/american standard control circuit board!
The Technician Didn't Have A Board On His Truck So He Temporarily Bypassed The Control Board And Wired The Fan To Stay On 100% Of The Time Until He Returns With A New Board This Week.
My problem is that in wiring the thermostat wires to the control board, he removed the wires leading to the a/c compressor, and doesn't remember where they go! Unhooked w at control board and jumped r and w at stat no blown fuse. Jan 25, trane xe90 gas furnace.

Everything seems fine and clear cut with the wiring there. What happens is the inducer starts, the ignitor glows and then there is a click, which i determined comes from the relays on top of the gas valve, but the burners don't light. We have a trane xl80 furnace with a trane xb10 compressor.
